Favourite food? πŸ•. Here is a comprehensive list of things that people often ask us. If you can’t find what you’re looking for here, please drop us an email πŸ˜€.

  • Yes. We do. We develop full visual identities and brand systems for a variety of clients.

  • Yes. We won't liaise directly with a printer however we can make suggestions on print process and prepare your files for print.

  • We enjoy a collaborative process. We will always present our designs and discuss our thinking with you.

We will share links to designs which will allow you to add comments.

Once we launch a website to our staging server, we'll share a snagging list. Here you can note bugs or glitches for us to investigate.

  • A clear brief. If you're unsure, we can help you put one together.

Be clear on your deliverables as well as your likes and dislikes. This will help us put together moodboards and prototypes that excite you!

  • Maybe. If it's appropriate to do so.

  • There's no question that having your own imagery will enhance your brand. Together we can decide how best to commission additional creative resources such as photography, animation and illustration.

We also have access to a number of image libraries if needed.

  • We work with a very talented wordsmith who can help set the tone for your the brand or campaign.

Where a lot of content is required we will put you in contact so you are able to liaise directly.

  • We always start with a discovery session. Be open and tell us what's important.

We want to know about your proposition, your competitors and your customers.

We will always spend time scoping out your competitors and other inspirational campaigns.

  • Following a discovery session, we will make a site map and simple wireframe to ensure your information is accessible and all journeys are clearly signposted.

If you're happy we'll begin designs – paying close attention to your brand and user experience. Once designs are signed off, we'll start the build.

When we've launched it to our staging server you will be able to explore and feedback before launch. We'll run a training session and give you access to the CMS where you can make changes to your content.

  • Nope. All our websites are fully bespoke.

We do use WordPress CMS for the majority of our sites as this is what the majority of our clients feel most comfortable using.

  • We have a preferred supplier and can put you in touch. We can advise on the most appropriate hosting package for your website.

  • We include 2 weeks of website support from launch. If you spot anything misbehaving in that time, we've got you covered.

We also offer retainer and maintenance packages. These cover everything from simple site updates to design resource.

  • What year is it?! Yes. All our websites are fully responsive.

  • Um no, sorry. If you need a Squarespace or Wix website, we suggest you find a specialist in that platform.

Our expertise is designing and building bespoke experiences, from scratch.

  • We have a preferred SEO partner. We work with them on a number of our retainer projects and have seen excellent results.

  • For new customers we ask for a portion of the total cost in order to proceed. This is usually a third. However this may change depending on requirements and scale.

  • We reserve the right to pause a project if need be. Payments on time mean we are able to prioritise your project and secure our team resource.

  • That depends. We will agree a timeline with you at the start of the project. This is usually broken into 2 or 3 phases with agreed deliverables at each stage.

A smaller branding project or website may take as little as 6–8 weeks whilst a larger project comprising branding and website could be 12 weeks.

We aim to put together realistic timelines. We know you're busy and gathering content or agreeing things with your team may take longer than expected.

We work smartly and efficiently throughout. If you think that there may be a hold up, the sooner you tell us, the easier it will be to accomodate.

  • Absolutely. We reserve the right to showcase our favourite projects on our website and maybe the odd social media post.

  • We quote openly and honestly based on our experience and everything you tell us. If you have a fixed budget, tell us so we can tailor our proposal appropriately.

  • We try to be as thorough as we can in our proposals. Sometimes we may require licences for fonts or images. We will always let you know if this is the case.

If we agree a route which requires additional creativeΒ (for example animation or photography), this will be commissioned as a separate cost.

  • Yes. We work with all kinds of organisations, no matter the shape or size.

  • Our collective experience and working practice means we can optimise our skillset depending on the needs of each project.

You'll have the benefit of four brains as well as Eight Arms delivering on your project.

  • In a nutshell, we are less expensive and more efficient. Your main contact will always be someone who is working directly on your project.

  • Dave, Matt, Matt or Cheryl. You will get to know all of us throughout the course of a project, but one of us will be you main contact.

  • Let's chat. We are friendly and down-to-earth. We have a fully transparent, no nonsense approach and are happy to answer whatever questions you might have.

  • We develop brands that need nothing more than a social media icon. We also develop large brands with global presence.

Every project follows the same process and is treated with the same respect.

  • We hope so. Try us...
